Experience an intimate recital for Violin and Piano performed by two of Australia's leading chamber music performers - Camerata’s Artistic Director and Leader, Brendan Joyce and pianist, Alex Raineri.
Based in Brisbane, Brendan Joyce is known for his highly regarded performances and collaborations with the Brisbane Festival, Queensland Music Festival, Brisbane Baroque, Darwin International Festival, Tyalgum Festival, the Festival of Tibet and the Australian Festival of Chamber Music. Brendan performs on period instruments. He is occasionally Concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Antipodes in Sydney, and he played for many years with the Australian Brandenburg Orchestra including in solo and leadership roles.
Described by Limelight Magazine as “a soloist of superb virtuosic skill and musicality”, Australian pianist Alex Raineri is an active recitalist, concerto soloist and chamber musician. International performances include tours throughout California, South-East Asia, United Kingdom, Ireland, New Zealand, Germany and Austria. Alex has been broadcast on BBC Radio 3, Radio NZ, California Capital Public Radio, ABC Classic FM and the Australian MBS Networks.
As a concerto soloist he has featured with the Queensland, Tasmanian, Darwin and West Australian Symphony Orchestras, Southern Cross Soloists, Orchestra Victoria, Four Winds Festival Orchestra and Bangalow Festival Orchestra.
